Intro

“공간의 주인은 모두란 뜻을 가진 공간주는 오랫동안 방치된 빈 집에 온기를 불어넣는 일을 하고 있습니다. 다양한 문화 컨텐츠를 접목하여,모두가 공감할 수 있는 ‘대화거리’를 만드려 합니다.

공간주 첫번째 서계동 은행나무집에서 7명의 작가분들에게 각자 주어진 공간, 빈집, 나의 그리고 방 이란 키워드를 가지고 작업해보았습니다.과거의 시간이 지금 이 시간까지 우리들의 이야기들로 겹겹이 쌓이는 따스한 장소로 기억되길 바래봅니다.”

SPACEHOST aims to bring warmth to long-deserted places. By blending diverse cultural contents, we want to make dialogues everyone can join.
For SPACEHOST’s first pop-up gallery, Seogye-dong Ginko Tree House, we asked seven artists to work with the themes of ‘space’, ’empty houses’, and ‘my room’. And we provided the space to exhibit the resulting works.
We hope this house, with rich history turned into our own stories, is remembered as the place where we all shared the warmth.
